The Planning Commission works with the Mt Ascutney Region Commission and the Southern Windsor County Regional Planning Commission as Consultants and for support in economic development.<\/p><p>The planning commission is currently updating the zoning by-laws to conform to the new state changes that focus on creating more affordable housing in Windsor. In 2026, we will be updating the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/app.box.com\/s\/k4hrfrpcyzzfn5886nlitw77qpfalc6m\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" aria-label=\"Town Plan Opens in new window\"><strong>Town Plan<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0to implement the vision of how additional housing should be integrated with existing housing and what areas are opportunities for new residential and commercial growth.
